Enduray Camera: Features
Engineered for the most demanding environments encountered during a nuclear reactor refueling and maintenance operation including temperature, humidity, water pressure, and mechanical shock.
Designed from the molecular level up to be radiation proof, the Enduray Camera System is the most radiation-hardened system available.
The Enduray system features include:
- Extreme Radiation Hardness in Mixed Fields (n + γ, in either air or water)
- Immune to Radiation-Induced Noise (‘Sparkle’)
- Self-illuminating – Requires no additional lighting
- Requires NO SHIELDING: light weight
- High-Definition (HD) image
- Small (2.65” diameter by 9” long)
- Waterproof to 200 ft
- Designed for Foreign Materials Exclusion (FME)
- High-temperature operation (up to 100°C)
- Advanced image processing software
- Remote video feed and multiplexed video available (HDMI, WiFi, Ethernet)
- Control Electronics Case rated to IP-67 for use in containment
Qualified at rad levels many times higher than those seen in a refueling environment.
Meets the IAEA-TECDOC and NRC 10CFR21 for FM in power plants.
The Enduray camera will operate close to any radiation source inside a commercial nuclear power plant for years.
